Meeting Kayla for coffee before her wedding felt like catching up with a dear friend right from the start! As we chatted about their upcoming big day, family stuck out as a priority to them, and they just wanted to enjoy this day with each other.
When their wedding day arrived, it was evident just how genuine and true to themselves this couple was (including awesome nontraditional shoes) and the love surrounding them was palpable.
Throughout the day, there were countless intimate and real moments that I had the privilege to capture, like heartfelt letters and raw moments.
After the ceremony, they wanted to take a downtown walk and capture some photos. I encouraged them to simply enjoy each other's company and savor those precious first moments as husband and wife. We took a few more portraits as the sun gracefully set at the venue, all in a relaxed and unhurried manner.
The evening passed in a whirlwind of joy and dancing, with every corner of the venue filled with happiness.
Kayla and Justin treated me like family throughout the entire celebration, and I will forever cherish the honor of documenting their special day.
